Past Retreats

Shireen is a Persian-Celt mystical healing space holder. Her soul has a deep affinity for creating meaningful space for humans to unearth their own healing elements already living within them and their roots. As a child, she would find solace in nature, and as she has journeyed through life, nature has become a beautiful eclectic medicine for her. The deep reverence she has for mother earth and all her gifts lights her passion to co-create space with the earth for others to connect with their most authentic self through intuitive movement, mindful journeying exploration, creative expression, ancestral connection, sound healing, earth medicine, and unconditional compassion and love. In her free time, Shireen can be found paddle boarding, camping with her pups, frolicking through the forest, and cooking and eating delicious food.

Jennie Yngsdahl has been drawn to the power and beauty of the earth since she was a small child, playing in the woods, befriending the fairy spirits in plants, lakes, and trees, and creating imaginary and real places of healing for herself as she grew up in northern Minnesota. Today she sees herself as a creative healer who draws from earth based spirituality going back to the time of the Goddess. Her background in theatre arts, music, expressive therapies, and depth psychology have shaped her ability to create and hold space for others on their healing journeys. Using the power of earth's elements and metaphor,  Jennie creates a safe and meditative space for art, music, percussion, writing, ritual, and simple body-awareness activities to help others find what they need in their healing work.
